When you contribute to Friends of Penny Kotterman, we are required under Arizona state election laws to report specific information on each contributor. We do this in periodic filings that we provide to the Arizona Secretary of State's office. Required information includes: name, address, date of contribution, amount of contribution, employer and occupation. These records are public information. When you make a credit card contribution online, we also ask for your credit card number and its expiration date. We utilize the services of Chase Bank and Authorize.Net to accept and process credit card payments. We ask you to give us your email address when you make an online contribution in case we need to follow up on your contribution. We may use information you provide to us when you contribute online to contact you for other purposes or to solicit from you additional contributions.

When you volunteer online, we collect your name, address, city, state, zip, email address, and telephone number. We collect information on volunteer activities that interest you. For example, we ask if you want to endorse Penny Kotterman, circulate a petition in your neighborhood, be a legislative district (“LD”) captain, host a candidate reception, display a sign in your home/business, or assist with telephone calls. We will use your email address, telephone number, or address to contact you about campaign activities that match your choices.

When required by law, we may disclose personal information when we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with an appropriate law enforcement investigation, current judicial proceeding, court order or legal process served on our web site.

We do not report any credit card information to the Arizona Secretary of State. Your credit card number, credit card type, and the expiration date of your credit card remain with us and we do not share this information with third parties.
